About the Ambassador

• Prior to the current position, His Excellency Bader Almatrooshi was Director of the Department of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE. • He also worked in the UAE’s Embassy in Washington DC as Director of Public Affairs and in the UAE’s Embassy in Vienna as Consul and Trade Attaché. Ambassador Almatrooshi holds a master’s degree in International Service from American University in Washington DC and a bachelor’s degree in political science and International Business Administration at the University of Alabama. • His Excellency joined several programs, including the future leadership Program of the UAE Government, and received many degrees in leadership, creativity, strategy and future direction from colleges such as Ashridge Business, INSEAD, Harvard University, and Duke University. • Ambassador Almatrooshi was part of the campaign of the team Expo 2020 in Dubai and participated in various international political, economic and social conferences organized by governmental and multilateral organizations such as the Atomic Energy Agency, OPEC, the OPEC Fund UNIDO, IMF, the World Bank, CTBTO and others.
